The opening screen presents the six chapters of the CD-ROM. Each chapter is devoted to a single Native American historical site including:
Sapelo Shell Rings
Rock Eagle
Fort Mountain
Kolomoki Mounds
Ocmulgee Mounds
Etowah Mounds.
After selecting a specific chapter, you are then transported to the main menu for this chapter. The menu reveals the many options available to you:
You may view a short 5 minute video featuring interviews with historians and scholars.
You can watch several 3D computer animated reconstructions of the site showing how it appeared when first constructed
You may take a virtual tour of the site utilizing Quicktime VR 360 degree panoramas to see how the site looks today
You may view a photo gallery featuring images of artifacts discovered at the site
You can access a website where you can learn even more about the site
After selecting the Video option, you will be transported to another screen where you can play the video. To preview the videos available on the CD-ROM, click the links below. (These are only excerpts. The CD-ROM videos are longer.)
After selecting the "3D Animation" option, you will be transported to a screen where you can view several 3D computer reconstructions showing how the site would have appeared when first constructed by Georgia's Native Americans.
You can select a new animation by clicking on the numbered buttons to the left of the animation. To preview a few of the animations available on the CD-ROM, click the links below:
After selecting the "Virtual Tour" option, you will be transported to a screen containing a map or aerial view of your chosen site. The map will feature numbered buttons which represent locations from which you may view a 360 degree interactive Quicktime VR panorama.
The panorama allows you to rotate the image a full 360 degrees by either clicking and dragging within the image or using the arrow buttons beneath the panorama.
You can navigate to the next panorama by returning to the Map or choosing one of the numbered buttons next to the panorama.

After selecting the "Gallery" option, you will be transported to an image gallery containing photos of the many artifacts discovered at the site along with short text that explains the items pictured.
